Mr. John W. Beatty,
Director, Carnegie art Galleries,
Pittsburgh, Pa.

Dear Sir:

Your letter of 31st ult. is received. Of course I will gladly do anything in my power to help along your first annual exhibition. As I am uncertain which of his pictures in my possession Mr. Tryon would prefer to exhibit, I have forwarded your blank to him asking his decision in the matter, with the request that he fill out the blank and send same to you.

With best wishes for the success of your exhibition, I remain,

Yours truly,
Charles L. Freer
