Mr. James. M. Hart,
220 Boylston St.,
Boston, Mass.

Dear Sir:

I at last found time and inclination to examine the package of Whistler etchings so kindly forwarded by you. I find satisfactory impressions of nearly all in my own collection, consequently I have retained only seven of those sent by you, viz.:

“Fishing Quay, Ostend”, --- $60.00
Cameo No. 2, -------------- 60.00
“Naval Review”, ----------- 72.00
“Return to Tillbury”, ----- 40.00
“Dortrecht”, -------------- 56.00
Model No. [[?]], ---------- 18.00
“Resting by the Stove”, --- 18.00
Total, -------------------- $324.00

The others go to you by American Express to-day, charges pre-paid. On receipt of invoice covering my account, I will be pleased to remit.

Thanking you for your courtesy, I remain,

Yours very truly,
Charles L. Freer
