Oct. 4/96.

Mr. C.C. Starkweather,
Supt. of Police,
City.

Dear Sir:

If you can consistently do so, will you do the residents on Ferry Ave. who have recently employed Garnier as a watchman the favor to let him have a patrol box key to enable him to report himself to your signal office. Also, will you further favor us by issuing notice to him to report as often as you deem it necessary to keep a check on him.

If the distribution of these keys is in the hands of the Board, will you be good enough to submit this request, and very greatly oblige,

Yours very truly,
[[?]]
