Mr. Rufus E. Moore,
33 Union Sq., New York.

My dear Mr. Moore:

I beg to acknowledge receipt of your kind note of the 26th inst. and regret that I could not find it possible to call upon you before leaving your city. You are very kind to offer to send the pieces of Ninsai and old Raku on approval. I would like to see them and gladly accept your offer, so be good enough to forward them by American Express.

Your reference to the delights to be found in the domain of the potter’s art have been as yet only partially realized by me, but I must agree with you that there are few mediums surpassing it in fascination.

Yours sincerely,
Charles L Freer
