Mr. Oliver W. Mink,
Receiver, U.P.R’y Co.,
Boston, Mass.

Dear Sir:

Inclosed herein please find copies of correspondence which has passed between Mr. Griffith and Mr. Brown of the Union Pac. R’y Co. and the Peninsular Car Co. regarding claim of the Peninsular Car Co. for extras applied to some cars built for the U.P.R’y Co. over three years ago. I think a perusal of this correspondence will fully explain the situation to you. We should receive $10,500.00 but are willing to settle for $3,250.00. Will you kindly authorize payment of the account, it being the last matter of the Peninsular Car Co. unadjusted.

Yours truly,

Peninsular Car Co.
C.L. Freer
V.P. & Treas’r.
