States the Yankee Sergeant, in command for the present, drew his company up in front of his store and demanded of him one bbl. of flour, 20 lbs. of sugar and 10 lbs. of coffee saying his government would pay for the same, and if not given to him it would be taken by force. He was compelled to furnish the articles demanded. Asks redress. |
