Filed | 84  Galveston Texas July 12, 1867  Communication to Com'dg Officer Post of Mt Pleasant Titus Co. directing him to aid Lt Roberts now under orders and en route to Clarksville Red River County to look after the interests of Union Refugees in that vicinity. Also notifies him of a band of Desperadoes traversing that section of the country and desires their apprehension. |

New Orleans stating that Ned Lockhart applies for transportation to Harrisburg Texas, or at least to Galveston. He has been struck by lightning, and is unable to earn his living. He wants to go to his parents in Harrisburg. He will be a burden on Govt. if transportation is not granted, and recommends that transportation be given him to Harrisburg. He is now in Marine Hospital. |

States that he shall proceed to New York, the reason of his delay being that his efforts at New York will depend on the sucess of said plan. |
