Galveston Texas April 20th 1867 States that Mr McBride, teacher at Goliad, Texas. complains that he had not been paid for repairs for School House at Goliad, tho' Vouchers were sent by Capt. Miller, V.R.C. long ago. Neither has he been paid for February or March, and that he is seriously inconvenienced thereby. |

His Father maltreats him and refuses to give him any education. She is willing to give any education, and when of age will give him a Horse, Bridle & Saddle, and $100.00 if she can be permitted to have him. |
