* Several of the students have had instructions in the scriptures, Theology, etc., as also in History, English, Computations, Elocution, etc. Some of the more advanced students have not yet resumed their studies for the present year. They are expecting to be in attendance next month

P.S. A Night School for adults has been taught three nights in the week, on the street S. near F. by George Jackson, one of my students. Number of pupils 18. Studies pursued, Spelling, Reading and Arithmetic.
This school is under my superintendence and is provided for in part by myself. It is a part of my educational work.
Another similar school with the same relations, near D. street N. and 12th street E. with 20 adult pupils is taught three nights in the week by Robert Collins, another of my students.
John Johnson, another of my students, has a similar school on 19th street near S.
The school taught during the last year on 14th street near C, will be opened next month under J. S. Poler, Esq. This is a branch school of the Inst & Miss)  E. T.
