Case 4th  Lavica Brooks (col) vs. Bokent M. Miller.  Claim for wages last year.  Claim not sustained, in consideration of number of small children  dependent and sickness during the year, the Court considered her fully recompensed for labor. 

Case 5th  Wm. James (white) vs. Wm. Hudgins (col'd).  Claim for offsetts in the case of Wm. Hudgins vs. Wm. James (tried Feb 24th) Mr James was notified of the trial that day but was obliged to go to [[?]] on that day.  Mr James notified the Court of the fact, but the letter was not rec'd until the case had been disposed of.  Court allowed offsetts to the amount of Five dollars.

Case 6th  Mrs Joice Smith vs. Wm. Hudgins (col)  Case similar to proceeding in Mr James Mrs Smiths agent.  Offsetts claimed seven dollars and twenty five cts.  Court allowed offsetts to the amount of Three dollars and fifty cents 

There being no further business before the Court, it adjourned until the 25th inst.
