transportation will be furnished to any place where they beleive they can get work. Such a plan may seem hard, but I beleive would in the end. be a blessing to these people. The busy season will comence next month – and if anything of the kind can be accomplished it must be done quickly. I am pretty well satisfied that very few would starve by reason of such a step and it is simply terrible to look forward to the future of those now dependent when Govt withdraws from the field and leaves them in the hands of the State Govt, if they cannot first be put upon their feet. There will be more than the Bureau can attend to of work for others who are and are not drawing Rations if such a step be taken and it will be a savings to the Govt of a great many Rations. I beleive that it will be a grand thing to harden our hearts for this once. I make this merely as a suggestion but beleive it feasible.
