Dear Sir,
I have the honor to enclose two letters from Mr W. H. Macon dated 10th and 16th insts, in reference to the sale of his farm to Freedmen. The Asst Commissioner directs me to request your aid in finding a purchaser for the land, for the Freedmen, if the "Freedman's Savings and Trust Company" do not wish to become the purchasers.
