I beg leave respectfully to inform you that from present appearances I shall be relieved from the Gen. Court Martial of which I am a member in time to reach Richmond and comply with S.O. No. 40 Bureau of R.F.& A.L. dated March 22. 1866 on Saturday the 12th inst or as soon thereafter as the means of transportation will permit.
