General:

I have the honor to return properly witnessed, the application of Mary Henderson, forwd Also the affidavit of Wm. Ward, in the case of Gilly Taine held for Anderson Taine, called for in your letter of 29th May.

Also the proof of marriage in the case of Matilda Mc Gender, forwd (I am not sure but this paper was sent for by Maj. Fowler, Washington?  If not on your files, please forward to him)

In the case of Frank Skeeter, retd whose papers were returned in letter of 13th July 66 for correction according to instructions of May 31st, "I have to say, that no letter bearing that date has been received and I have no instructions concerning his case, in other letters.  Being unable to discover the error, I respectfully return the papers, for instructions.
