land from all sections of the south.  The value of the crops raised can not therefore be given, although the amt. of money actually rec'd by the Bureau from sale of crops can be actually, and accurately stated, from the time Capt. Flagg's administration commenced, viz the 18 of June, 1865.  This amount is ($5879.59) Five thousand eight hundred and seventy nine and 59/100 dollars.  Prior to this sale of early vegetables &c were made under the direction of Capt Flagg's predecessor, the amt of which I cannot give.

2d.  The No. of buildings occupied by the Bureau on the 1st day of Sept. 1865, was (6) six.

3d.  The only applications for rent, made by owners and pretended owners of property, in which any specified sum has been stated amount to ($253.00) two hundred and fifty three dollars.  Many other applications have been made in which no amt has been mentioned, applicants simply asking for rent which has accrued. 

4th.  No personal property has been seized and applied to the use of the Bureau in this dist, since its organization as a Bureau under Capt. Flagg.
