In reporting the whereabout of Mr. Pepper and his papers, as ordered, I gave the information received from Wilson in my office when I informed him that I had no intention of interfering in his business.  When he intimated to me that he should charge 30 pr ct. for collecting I told him that would not be allowed 

I regret very much that this impression should obtain still more that there should be any [[?]] for these complaints
