Respectfully returned to the Asst. Comr. According to the within statement of Lieut Massey Asst. Supt. the Whittaker farm is said to contain "six hundred and twenty acres of land mostly woodland."  This "Whittaker" farm was reported in August 1865 by Capt Flagg in his transfer to Capt. Wilder and, regularly, since that time, on the returns of Capt Wilder for the months of 


September October and November 1865 (number of acres contained being omitted).  After Nov. 1865 only reports of changes have been forwarded pursuant to orders.  By error this farm has been dropped from Lt. Masseys papers
