I would respectfully refer to your kind consideration the supplications of a mother and two small children in behalf of a husband and father who has been confined to the Penitentiary since the 22nd day of March 1866 for the term of one year The prisoner can prove his innocence His name is Marshall Jones he has lived in Richmond for 17 years and has never been accused of crime prior to his arrest on the charge for which was convicted. In substantiation of the above facts he refers to the following Pastor Samuel Ruth Supt of [[RFR?]]

If in your power to release him the prayers of a mother and her suffering children will follow you forever
