Office of Provost Judge, Libby Prison. Richmond, Va, March 27th 1866 Capt. J. M. Schoonmaker, Commanding City Prisons: Captain: I herewith forward under guard the following names persons, viz: Marchall Jones (Colored) John Pollard (Colored) Laurence Pollard (Colored) convicted of Grand Larceny, and sentenced, each of them, to be confined in the Virginia Penitentiary, at hard labor, for the term of one (1) year from this date.
