Mr W. A. Williams did own a house and lot in Newtown and was in the rebel Army, but died before the war closed. Major Moss turned over the property to the paid "Williams" Mother, since then the property has been sold to pay a mortgage, of Seven hundred dollars.

On the list is name of "Turner" near Fort Norfolk a Frame Dwelling - I have been all over - I took one whole day looking over that part of the Country in a circuit of some Eight miles - There is
