Cholera which had appeared among them.  Messrs Beatty and Corson were notified that the Island was required for temporary use, and their fishery would not be interferred with - Beatty and Corson left the Island for the time but did not abandon their lease.  On the removal of the troops they asked to return to the Island under the terms of the lease.  Enclosed I send copy of Lease.
