General:

I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of a communication from the Asst. Comr. Va, dated Sept. 24, 1866, relative to corrections to be made in my Sept. Report of Lands.

Corrections, as directed have been made in the case of William Anderson, although the retained copy of Land Report for Sept. 1865, bears me out in my report of 151 Acres.

In the case of "Dr. Woods", Note 2d.  The "House, outbuildings and lot", were absorbed in the "Dr. Woods Farm", which was duly reported - "House and Cabins" noted in proper column. - It was not thought necessary to make a special note of this change.  In order to avoid ambiguity or question, I have taken up the "House outbuildings and lot" in my report for Sept. and under the head of "Remarks", have transferred it to the
