Colonel:

William Boone (Col'd), formerly Private Co. "F" 1st U.S. Col'd Cavalry, enlisted January 9th 1865; at Newport News and made claim for Retained Bounty on the 11th August 1866, claims that he is the rightful Claimant, and that the William Boone who claimed the bounty in May last and was paid is an imposter. 

Will you please give me the names of the Witnesses who swore to the identity of the first Wm Boone?
