Richmond Va
19th Decr 1865.

Dear Sir,

I want four good ploughmen from your Freedman to New Market Farms in Caroline Coy near Milford Station on the 1st Jany to report to me, on that day on the farm. The wages I will give is from $84 to $108 per annum payable half yearly, with a House, fire and at the rate of 1 1/2 pecks corn meal per week and 3 lbs of meat per week, during they must bind themselves to the rules and regulations of the Farm the same as the white men.

Please select the best class as they will have to work along with wihite immigrants -

Yours Respectfully
