I William Roberts in feeble health, though of sound mind, do in the name of God make this my last Will and testament Febuary 8th. in the year our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ eighteen hundred and fifty nine. - I give to Miss Helen Robertson four negroes by name Sarah, Harriet, Josephine and Roger. - I give to Harrison Robertson five negroes by name Mary & her child Thomas Franklin, Patience, Little John, and big John - I give to Mrs. Elizabeth Waller four negroes by name Susan, Lidia, Cloe and Martha - I give to Littleton Waller two negroes by name Sam, and Frank during his lifetime, but the latter at at his deth to be transfered to his present wife or her child or children - At my decease my plantation and other property I own will be sold, except the above negroes, and all my just debts and necessary expenses paid out of the proceeds, the balance if any to be divided among the following persons - Miss Helen Robertson one fifth, Harrison Robertson one fifth, Mrs. Elizabeth Waller one fifth, Littleton Waller one fifth, and William Robertson now of Philadelphia one fifth - I appoint Harrison Robertson Esque the executor of this my will

Codicil - In selling my land, I wish my executor to exercise his own his own discretion to sell the same in parcels or to sell the whole in one body. I request the Court to permit my executor above named to qualify as such without giving any security and Authorize my executor to sell my land either at public or private sale as in his opinion he may think best. Written and signed wholy with my own hand this 16th day of May 1860 -
