I have the honor to request that Transportation be furnished "Maholey Epps" Freedwoman (widdow) From Stoney Creek to Petersburg - believing her to be a subject for the Freedman's Hospital. Her condition is as follows - She evidently has the Consumption. her Child six months old the Whooping cough - She has been turned off by one Thom's Birdsong because she was not able to work - and has applied to me for assistance. and would request that she be sent to the Hospital.
