Bureau RF and A Lands
Office of Asst Sup' 3d Dist Va
Richmond Va 25 Aug/66

Respectfully returned to Captain J A McDonnell Supt 3d Dist Va with the information that according to instructions I visited the residence of Mrs. Bradley, situated corner 27th Street and Leigh, and found that she is occupying an ordinary sized house, of about 6 rooms, subletting sufficient to pay the whole of the rent. She and her daughter occupy two of the rooms, one of these a sitting room is very respectably furnished, and the general appearance of their portion of the house, does not by any means betray poverty.

Her daughter is a college graduate, and said by Mrs. Bradley to be in feeble health. Mrs. Bradley has three colored children under her care, one of whom she has hired out, the other two about 6 & 8 years old, act as servants for her

She has a large garden attached to the house
in good cultivation
