appearantly was on the ground floor, & spread upwards.  When fire was over home & to bed when another alarm was sounded. - We pumped out three sisterns during the fire - Did not make any enquiries regarding the fire - got a stream on the fire for the second time - Have heard that the building was set on fire - No cause for burning the building was assigned
Think the firemen were not prejudiced agst the Col'd schools so as to influence their action - Saw no police -

Robt T. Guinn sworn,  Is a Volunteer fireman  Is Capt of the Steam engine - Engine did good execution at this fire - Engine has 800 ft. of hose which was used. - Saw no wardens at the fire - Took up hose when fire was out. - No one took control of the fire - Every one did the best he could - Saw Chief Engineer at the second fire - Saw benches thrown out of window - Saw no Police - Fire was in second story. - Never heard any one say he wished to have the building burned
