Genl.  In reply to the questions propounded in your letter of the 8th inst I have the honor to inform you that no buildings have been occupied in this District by the Bureau except those that had been used as public buildings by the Rebel Authorities.  The list on the 1st day of Sept. 1865 was as follows

11 Hospital Buildings 
1 Bath House: 3 Blacksmiths Shops
5 Offices: 1 Stable
1 Bakery: 3 Buildings used for Negro Qrs
2 Kitchens: 1 Granery
1 Wash House: 1 Guard House
6 Store Houses: 1 Work Shop

Three buildings were held as Bureau Property 
2nd No rent has been claimed for lands or Buildings up to this date.
3rd No personal property has been seized
