Va. 3d Vol 1866 Warwick Co Va July 24th 1866 Curtis, Thomas Applies for the restoration of his and his brother's (Edmund Curtis) Real Estate of which he is administrator, there are three tracts of land containing respectively 198, 400, and 225 acres, He is a cripple and was therefore a non combattant his brother died early in 1862. Does not come under any of the exceptions of the Presidents proclimation 5 Enclosures Bureau Refugees F. & AL Office Asst Sup Warwick Co Newport News July 24th 1866. Respectfully forwarded to Genl Armstrong, Sup 5 Dist. The Restoration of the within Real Estate would not in my opinion be prejudicial to the interests of the Freedmen CH Warrens Capt & Asst Sup [[stamp]] Hd Qrs Supt 5th Dist RECEIVED JUL 25 1866 [[/stamp]]
