Gen'l Brown,

Dear Sir,
Miss Woolsey, one of our teachers, has communicated to us her correspondence with you in regard to her room for an industrial school, and also her plan for using the building on the Bakery lot which we heartily approve.
She fears that her tenure of the building may be uncertain and is anxious lest after expending money upon its improvement she should be obliged to give it up. We assure her there is no danger of this, as we have your written promise of July 4th in these words
