The petition of W. H. Curtis personal representative of Thomas E. Fitzgerald deceased. 
   
That said Thomas E. Fitzgerald was in his lifetime & at the time of his death the owner in fee of certain lot of land in the Town of Hampton Virginia bounded as follows North by , South by the Street , East by  and West by
   
That said lot of land as your petitioner is informed is on the books of the Freedmens Bureau and your petitioner is desirous of having the same returned that the parties entitled thereto may receive the benefit of the same.  In support of this his application he files Certificate of having taken the Amnesty Oath, Certificate of his not being within the exceptions of the the Amnesty Proclamation, Certificate that the lot has not been libelled for confiscation & Certificate that the lot was changed to Thomas E Fitzgerald in the books of the County Court.  Certificate that he is the personal representative of Thomas E Fitzgerald deceased.  And respectfully asks to that the said lot may be restored to him as such personal representative.
