Asst. Supt. for
Princess Anne Co.

Makes report on condition of the health of Freedmen and general condition

Reports the health of the Freedmen taken "en masse" very good. No cases of suffering or severe sickness have come to his knowledge. In the absence of epidemic decease There is and will be no occasion for a resident physician in Princess Anne County, but a weekly visit of a physician to the Poor farm with a sufficient supply of medicines (especially for children) in the hands of the Asst Superintendent and permission to send surgical or severe cases to Norfolk would be all that is necessary.
