In reply to your com of the 8th inst. having reference to the reduction of my rolls as directed by Lt. Col. Neide. I have the honor to state, that the reduction at the end of March amt'd to nearly if not quite $1000 one thousand dollars.  The rolls of April will make up about as follows:

3 Three Asst. Supts civilians 1@ $125 & 2 @ $100 per mo.                 $325.00
4 Four clerks, 1 @ $125, 2 @ $100, 1 @ $75 per mo.                      $400.00
3 Three overseers 1 @ $75.00, 2 @ $50.00 per mo.                          $175.00
9 Nine Teamsters aggregating $120.00
5 Five Carpenters             $95.00
1 One Grave digger            $10.00

                                1125

It (the Roll for April) may be as much as the above amt. but will probably be smaller.
