Assistant Quartermaster's Office,
May 20th 1866

Genl. Orlando Brown
Asst; Comr,
Richmond Va,

Genl,

I have the honor to request that transportation be furnished from Norfolk Va. to Richmond Va. for Molly Atkinsin and Jessie Furbel colored orphans, who are to enter the orphan asylum at the latter place. I make the request, for the purchase of relieving the gov't of their support. Miss M. L. Kellogg, city missionary of Portsmouth, wishes to accompany them as they are too young to go alone, and requests that transptn. be furnished her also.

I am Genl
Very Respectfully
Your Obt. Servt.
A.S. Flagg
Capt. A.Q.M. & Supt.
