Col Brown allow me send you the enclosed notice and say that numbers of this people will be Gladly received by our Citizens & that I should have returned to complete the number that my transportation called for, had it not have been, for the detention of their Baggage by the New Jersey Rail Road Company — up to the past week, which was a Great outrage upon us, we however obtained it and so that matter is settled  

I am about ready to return
