notoriety at Dock near 17th street, Robert Sneed 12th near Gary st and Daniel McCarthy on 2nd between Byrd and  Canal st.

Witnesses to the above are Ben Carrie "Cold" at Martin and Gadozer Cor 12th and Cary st, Patrick Young "Cold" Cor' 5th and Clay st and Henery Thompson "Cold" at Henrico County Jail on main between 21st and 22nd st Richmond, Va.

The Police Caused said Henery Thompson "Cold" to be placed in the above said jail on the charge of having stolen a horse without any one making affidavit that he was seen with the horse at any time in any manner and he has now been in said jail for fourteen days without trial on the ground that there is said to be a witness against said Thompson in Hanover County Va about three hours ride from  the City and for whom they have not as yet sent an officer for.

There are a number of witnesses who have presented themselves time and again before the Court and stated the could prove that the prisoner Henery Thompson "Cold" was
