I have the honor to request a copy of the order directing that Asst. Superintendents be present at the trial of Freedmen of of cases in which Freedmen are parties -

No such order, or circular, is on file in this office and I may need it.

If my memory serves me it is Circular No 10 from your Head Quarters

Please send it as soon as possible -  I have not asked Capt. Lacey for it because I do not suppose he has any extra copies - and I am desirous to have a copy as soon as I can get one.
