Last Sept. or Oct. Wm. Turner of this County, went to the Prov Marshall, or the Sergt. of Fd. Ms. Bureau, and without my knowledge or consent, and had my daughter, Jane, bound to him, she is now in her thirteenth year,—
I am very desirous of having her released, I have no husband, and but two children, and this is the elder, the younger is only six years old, too small to assist me in making a living,—
I went to the Supt. F. Ms. B. a few days since to have her released, but he said he had no authority, to undo what had been done by the preceding Officer, and now I appeal to you, to have my child returned to me, to assist me in making a support, I am told that I am free, if so, I think I ought to have my children, hoping that you will have justice done me, and
