This day personally appeared before me, D.J. Godwin a a Notary Public, in and for the State and City aforesaid, Jno: H. Thompson, who being duly sworn, made oath, that he does not come under any of the exceptions contained in the Proclamation of the President of the U. States of May 29th 1865.  Given under my hand this 20th July 1866.
