Encloses an advertisement for the sale of the Delaware Hospital property. Recommends that two of the houses belonging to the Government be sold, and that the other be taken down, and the materials be used to build four school houses in diff't parts of the town.

Respectfully forwarded to Gen O Brown, AAA Gen Head Qrs Asst Comr Richmond Va. If it is the intention of the Bureau to dispose of these buildings, it is recommended that it be done in the manner as herein indicated by Captain Tidball. In order that the facts may be more clearly presented to the Asst Comr I would respectfully recommend that an Inspector be sent to Charlottesville, for the purpose of disposing of these buildings, under such provisions as may be deemed proper.
