Articles of agreement made and entered into this 4th day of January 1866, between Leroy Williams of the one part and Jackson Tyree & Wm Tyree freemen of color of the 2nd part. Witnesseth that the said Leroy Williams of the first part agrees to furnish one horse and feed the said horse and the necessary Farming Implements and the land upon the condition that the said Jackson Tyree & Wm Tyree of the 2nd part will repair the fences and cultivate the land well.  The corn and cotton crops to be equally divided between the said Leroy Williams of the first part and the said Jackson Tyree & Wm Tyree of the 2nd part.  The said Leroy Williams to have all the Blade Fodder after it has been properly secured and also to have all of the Potatoes & Peas. Jackson Tyree of the 2nd part is allowed to have the [[? acre]] piece of land for a potatoe patch that he cultivated last year and he is also with the Team furnished him to supply the necessary quantity of wood, and after the crops shall have been laid by, the said Jackson Tyree & Wm Tyree have the privilege to work at any place they may think proper  The said Leroy Williams is to have no control over
