Mr. Geo. M. Brown,
Gen'l M'gr, Pullman Palace Car Co.,
Pullman Building, Chicago, Ill.

My dear Sir:

Permit me the pleasure of introducing to you Mr. S. Takata of Tokio, Japan, and New York. Mr. Takata is a personal friend of a very warm friend of mine and is prominently engaged in many affairs in Japan including transportation. He is desirous of knowing about sleeping cars and has in view their introduction in Japan. I have said to my friend that if Mr. Takata will call upon you, you will be pleased to tell him concerning the same and give him such information as is within your power. I am very glad indeed to be the means of bringing about this acquaintance and have no doubt that it will prove mutually agreeable and trust eventually mutually profitable.

Yours very truly,
Charles L Freer
Managing Director.
