Mr. Rufus E. Moore
33 Union Sq., New York.

My dear Sir:

I have your favor of 18th inst. And note same fully. I am expecting to be called to New York almost any day and at the first opportunity after arrival I shall be pleased to call upon you and have a look at such of the fine things mentioned as may still remain with you at that time.

The [[aialda?]] is a fine figure and I have not dismissed it from my mind. If business matters improve, I may have the courage eventually to accept your offer, but of this more when next we meet.

With personal regards.

Yours truly,
Charles L. Freer
