Feb. 23/97.

Mr. John B. Peabody,
183 Marlborough St.,
Boston, Mass.

My dear Sir:

I beg to inform you that the four paintings mentioned in our earlier correspondence have been shipped to your address, 183 Marlborough St., Boston, by American Express this day in two boxes. I was somewhat in doubt as to the correctness of the address used but presume this letter will arrive long enough in advance of the paintings to enable you to change the delivery should you desire to do so.

Yours very truly,
Charles L Freer

Transcription Notes:
I guessed on all the faint inter-line notes. I believe the faint inter-line notes are bleed through of the previous page's note about the hedge. The text seems to match exactly.
