Sept. 21st, 1897.

Mr. Wm. F. Jarvis,
Detroit, Mich.

My dear Sir:-

I have your letter of 21st instant enclosing one from Mr. Himrod and thank you for the same. I have pleasure in handing you herewith Col. Hecker's and my own check for $750.00 each, as requested.

Now, with reference to having an exhibition of the machine here I think it would be interesting, and if you decide to do so, I hope to have an opportunity of seeing the experimental work.

I return Mr. Himrod's letter herewith as requested.

With best wishes,

Yours truly,
Charles L Freer
