(122) Dec. 14/97

My dear Church:

I am sending you inclosed herewith a card which I would like sent along with the picture recently purchased from you entitled "Summer Breezes?" to:

Mr. W.M. Wilson, Sheffield, Mass,

I wish you would ship the picture from New York on Dec. 22 and prepay the express charges, in order that the picture may be at its destination the day before Christmas. Mr Wilson is a warm personal friend of both Col. Hecker and myself, and I am sure he will appreciate the possession of the canvas very much indeed.

I expect to be in New York soon and hope to have the pleasure of seeing you, but am sending the card and shipping instructions in advance so that you may have the opportunity to have the packing and forwarding done regardless of seeing me.

With best wishes and hoping you are very well, I remain,

Yours faithfully,
Charles L Freer

Mr. F.S. Church,
1512 Broadway New York
