My dear Mr. North:

I have your note of recent date and thank you therefor. I was offered some time ago a copy of the Anning Bell "Kents" on Japan paper, but on examination the book did not please me. I really think the illustrations much handsomer on the cheaper paper.

Have you yet succeeded in securing another copy of "Earth Work out of Tuscany"? If you have, please forward it to me. If you are still without it, I wish you would continue your inquiries for the little book abroad.

With best wishes,
Your very truly,
Charles L Freer
