Mr. A. H. Griffith,
Art Director, Trans-Mississippi and International Exposition,
Paxton Building, Omaha, Neb.

My dear Mr. Griffith:-

Earlier reply to your recent letter has been delayed by my absence from home. While I have not yet closed the sale for my big Inness, I believe the party who is considering it will eventually accept my proposition, so I can't sent it to your exhibition; in fact I presume by this time it will be too late to forward it anyway.

I hope everything in connection with your present work is going pleasantly and successfully.

With personal regards, I am,
Yours very truly,
Charles L Freer
