Gentlemen:-

Enclosed herewith I have pleasure in handing you draft on the City Bank, Limited, London, for Eight Pounds Fifteen Shillings in payment for "Letters of Marque" by Rudyard Kipling, your catalogue Number 282 A. Kindly send this book to me at 915 Union Trust Building, Detroit, Mich., U.S.A., advising me of shipment and sending me receipted bill in duplicate for Customs purposes. As it is against the rules of the Customs Department to import articles of this nature by mail, I would request that you make shipment by express and oblige.

Yours truly,
